PEERS® for Preschoolers Training
Our team completed the PEERS® for Preschoolers Certification Program (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) over the weekend (17–19 April 2025)!
The PEERS® for Preschoolers is a 16-week, evidence-based social skills program developed at UCLA, designed for children aged 4 to 6 who may experience social challenges related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression simply need support with making and keeping friends.
This structured, play-based program empowers children to build friendships with active involvement from their parents as social coaches. With their social coaches’ guidance, children will practice essential skills such as:
- Sharing and giving a turn
- Keeping cool
- Show and tell during play
- Asking a friend to play
- Joining a game
