Account Executive(Sarawak)

We’re looking for Account Executive to support daily accounting tasks, including transactions, reporting, and reconciliations. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports audits and compliance, and works closely with internal teams to maintain smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Assist in maintaining a full set of accounts, including supporting month-end closing and financial reporting activities.
  • Process and record daily collections and bank-in transactions.
  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices, receipts, payments, and staff claims.
  • Handle intercompany billings and reconciliations.
  • Perform accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, including follow-ups on outstanding balances.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly supported with documentation and filed systematically.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
  • Prepare tax schedules including SST and support statutory filings.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.

Asset & Inventory Control

  • Maintain fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations.
  • Assist in periodic stock counts, stock verification, and reconciliation with accounting records.
  • Report discrepancies and support investigation of variances.

Administrative & Support Functions

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
  • Liaise with internal departments, outlets, auditors, bankers, and vendors where necessary.
  • Support process improvements and system implementations within the Finance function.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification. 
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiar with computerized accounting and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hearing screenings, diagnostic tests, and consultations on hearing loss prevention and management.

  • Good in filing/documentation work and able to work independently with minimum supervision 
  • Min: Three (3) years of working experience in audiological services and/or 300 clinical hours to qualify as Senior 
    Audiologist
  • Knowledge in Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the region's outlet operation and financial performance. 

  • Regular visit to the region’s outlet. 

  • Guide and/or handle major complaints or difficult clients as and when issues arise. 

  • Responsible for the proper upkeep of clients’ records, databases, and financial data and maintaining high confidentiality. 

  • Responsible for the outlet's billing and payment collection. 

  • Collaborate with marketing in planning and executing sales and promotional activities. 

  • Plan and support public hearing awareness programs, roadshows, exhibitions, and conferences when necessary. 

  • Provide guidance, supervision, and/or on-the-job training to staff. 

  • Responsible for outlet ambience to provide comfortable environment for staff and clients. 

  • Ensure clinical works and manpower support is always available at regional outlets. 

  • Reporting the status of the outlet to Managing Director/Area Manager.

  • Perform task assigned by immediate superior. 


Requirements

QUALIFICATION: 

  • Min: Recognized degree in any disciplines preferably in audiology, management and/or business administration  

  • Good credit in language and mathematics  

 

SKILL / WORKING EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least Three (3) year experience in a customer service or audiologist position in retail outlet / healthcare / services industry is preferred. 

  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and preferable Mandarin.  

  • Knowledge in Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD).
