Championing Hearing Health at One Hope Health Carnival 2025

We are proud to have participated in the One Hope Health Carnival 2025, held from 17–18 May at Penang. Organised by One Hope Charity & Welfare, this two-day health-focused event brought together healthcare providers and wellness advocates with a shared goal — to raise awareness and improve public access to essential healthcare services.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, 20dB Hearing was honoured to contribute our expertise in audiology to the community. Our dedicated team of audiologists was present throughout the event to offer free hearing screenings, personalised consultations, and educational resources about hearing loss and the benefits of early intervention. Our mission was to help the public better understand their hearing health and to empower them with the knowledge needed to take proactive steps towards better hearing and overall well-being.

The response from the community was both heartwarming and inspiring. Families, seniors, young adults, and even children stopped by our booth with curiosity and genuine interest in their hearing health. Many were surprised to learn that hearing loss can occur gradually and often goes unnoticed until it becomes disruptive. Through interactive demonstrations and one-on-one discussions, we highlighted the importance of regular hearing checks and the role that hearing plays in communication, mental health, and quality of life.

It was particularly moving to see elderly visitors express gratitude after learning more about hearing solutions they had never previously considered. For many, this event provided their first opportunity to speak to a qualified audiologist. Moments like these remind us why outreach programmes like this are so vital — they bring essential health services closer to people who need them most.
